14日午前、北海道斜里町の羅臼岳（標高1661ｍ）で、20代の男性がヒグマに襲われ安否不明となっています。
警察などによりますと、14日午前11時ごろ羅臼岳から下山していた登山者から「友人がヒグマに襲われた」と警察に通報がありました。
通報した20代の男性にけがはありませんが、一緒にいた20代の男性はクマに襲われた後、登山道脇の茂みに引きずりこまれ安否がわかっていません。
その後、通報した男性への聴き取りから当時の状況が明らかになってきました。
当時、襲われた男性は、通報した男性の200ｍほど前を歩いていました。
通報した男性は、襲われた友人から自分の名前を呼ばれたため、駆け寄るとクマと格闘していた友人の男性を目撃。
襲われた男性は抵抗していたものの、クマに登山道の脇の茂みに引きずり込まれていったということです。
